It all started back when I was an exchange student a really long time ago: Everyone always asks me how to say something or another. So, I thought, why not put up a few pages that help answer anyone else out there who might need a pronunciation guide for common Turkish words and phrases?

A word of caution: My only qualification for the job is that I am from Turkey. I am not a linguist. I do not promise you will become fluent in Turkish by visiting this site. However, I hope it will help you pick up some useful phrases and surprise your Turkish friends.
